I wear mostly black – it allows me to focus on form, rather than pattern and colour.
J Smith Esquire millinery gave me a gorgeous little black beret to wear with a kimono and wide trousers for my recent debut with the Dalston Ballet. He will be launching his new hat collection with an exhibition from 30th May to 2nd June at Herrick Gallery.

My current obsession is glittery squid ink flatbread with egg yolk and smoked mackerel, with a pink Whisky Sour, at Black Axe Mangal in Islington. I’m also partial to pierogi and borscht, with a glass of red, at L’Autre in Shepherd Market.

I’m taking my new G24 Gladstone London cabin trolley bag to the Venice Biennale. I hope this leather beauty will eventually bear the scars of many road trips around the British coast, through Italy, across the desert states of America and numerous cities.

I love Le Labo products, especially Santal 33, which I discovered while staying at the Pulitzer Amsterdam last year. For perfume I wear Jardin D’Écrivains Junky or Carner Barcelona D600.

My bicycle gets me around town, keeps me fit and is infused with memories. It’s a Dutch Gazelle with a big basket and enough gears for the occasional London hill…!
